Feel the wind fill the sail and the boat respond as your crew finds its rhythm. This private sailing experience puts you at the heart of the action, learning to guide the boat across Oxenford’s lake.
You’ll be captain, navigator and safety officer, rotating through roles that bring a fresh challenge and a different perspective. Take the helm, help find your course and look out for your crew—all with expert instruction and safety oversight from the sailing team.

- Location
- Oxenford, on the northern Gold Coast.
- Timing
- We’ll confirm the sailing, preparation and shared meal timings before booking.
- Participation
- Sailing may involve boarding a small boat, changing position, steering and handling ropes. Participant requirements and suitable roles will be discussed before booking.
- On the water
- The sailing team leads instruction, boat operations and weather decisions. Lifejackets and a safety briefing form part of the supported sailing format.
- Food
- A relaxed lakeside café lunch is planned; final arrangements and inclusions remain to be confirmed.
- Group size
- Minimum 8 paying guests. Smaller groups quoted separately.
- Transport
- Transport is not included. Guests make their own way to the meeting point. Any available group transport would be quoted separately.
